From 2024, 95% of wind turbines must be recycled in France. More and more pressure is put upon windfarm operators to valorize their first generation wind blades after 25 years of effective life.

We focused on the Arfons site dismantling.

Throughout technical constraints and extreme competitiveness in the European renewable energy ecosystem, we created a life extension program for wind blades, valorizing them for at least 50 additional years, in coherence with their initial purpose : a fair transition towards a greener and more resilient future.

Reuse of windblades' hydrophobic properties for a "sponge city" infrastructure renovation in Bézier.

Urban island heat effect can be reduced by 3°C.

Reuse of windblades' material quantity for a permeable bitumen renovation in Bézier. Flood resilience measures like this one can reduce the citie's expenses by 14 millions in 5 years.

A windfarm dismantling by airship would make it quicker and cheaper.
